    Adero Law is undertaking investigations into underpayments of staff employed as salaried Managers or Coordinators at Officeworks for the period of 2020 to present for potential breaches of the 2020 General Retail Industry Agreement (GRIA).

    Current and former employees allege that Officeworks engaged in practices and conduct including:

    · Salaried employees being directed to work during their meal and rest breaks;

    · Failing to compensate salaried employees for their entitled penalty rates consistent with the GRIA when working shifts that should incur penalties;

    · Directing staff to complete work from home, including rostering, and administration work;

    · Directing staff to work pre-shift and post-shift hours to complete their daily duties without compensation; and

    · Other potential breaches that Adero Law is currently investigating.

    You may have a claim if you were:

    · Employed by Officeworks at any time between April 2020 and April 2026;

    · Employed on a full-time basis;

    · Employed on an annualised salary; and

    · Employed in a managerial or coordinator position.

    Adero Law now has a growing list of current and former Officeworks employees who were employed between 2020 and 2026 and estimates that the company may owe them significant amounts in respect of underpayments and interest.

    We encourage both current and former staff to contact us to discuss their experience. If these practices have occurred across Officeworks nationally, Adero Law may pursue a class action and seek compensation for any employee whose entitlements were not paid in full.
