Liquidator’s Examination of One Key Workforce


Adero Law notes the examination conducted by the liquidator of the One Key Workforce Pty Limited (in Liquidation) in Brisbane between 15 and 29 July 2020.

One Key Workforce Pty Limited (in Liquidation) is an associated entity of One Key Resources Pty Ltd and One Key Holdings Pty Ltd, which are the First and Second Respondents in the One Key Class Action filed by Adero Law in April 2020.

On 25 May 2018, the Federal Court of Australia declared that the RECS (Qld) Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2015 was void and unenforceable, which resulted in One Key Workforce being placed into liquidation.

The liquidator’s examination is an investigative exercise which involves the examination of directors and other officers of One Key Workforce. Such examinations are a powerful tool for liquidators to gain information and verify facts to investigate the management and history of a company.

Adero Law has commenced a class action against One Key group alleging underpayments of up to $38 million and welcomes the scrutiny, that the directors and officers of One Key Workforce are facing to explain how these substantial underpayments arose. Adero Law looks forward to the results of any outcome of the examinations and hopes that the examination will assist to advance any judgment or settlement within the One Key Class Action.
